Step 4: Reviewing and Applying Settings

On the start page, you can review all the settings you have made. Changes

are highlighted in red. If they are OK, click Restart for the new settings to

take effect.

NOTE: It takes about 7 seconds for the SMC2586W-G to complete its

restart process.

NOTE: If you decide not to change settings of the SMC2586W-G, be sure

to log off by clicking the Log Off button on the left menu. This way another

administrator can log on to the device to do configuration and manage-

ment. If you do not click the Log Off button or have not interacted with

the Web management interface for a period of time specified by the Web

admin idle timeout setting (5 minutes by default), you’ll be automatically

logged off by the device.
